CCTV captures woman skipping out on $200 salon bill In Oklahoman? Scam or Genius?

When a client doesn’t pay, the local salon ends up losing money.

A client of an Oklahoma City salon committed a heinous act of theft by leaving without paying for her services. As a result of the event, the small beauty services business V’s Aesthetics lost roughly $200.

The identity of the woman who entered the salon using a false name and enjoyed treatments for more than two hours before quickly leaving without paying was caught on camera by the salon’s surveillance system. Salon owner Vanessa Resendiz voiced her dismay at the occurrence, highlighting the dedication their staff has shown throughout the years.

After the consumer used what turned out to be a counterfeit credit card to pay, things started to seem fishy. After claiming to need another card from her car, she disappeared without a trace, causing services to go underpaid and hopes to be dashed.

Resendiz took to social media to share her story, pleading for help and drawing attention to the importance of fellow company owners being vigilant. She bemoaned the action, saying, “I just think that was a very horrible thing to do,” and urged people to be careful in similar positions.
